STILL #36 Ed Begley, who won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor of 1962 in “Sweet Bird of Youth” is seen here with Tony Bennett, who makes his motion picture debut in “The Oscar,” and Jill St. John.
STILL #37 Broderick Crawford, who won his “Oscar” for Best Actor in the 1949 production of “All The King’s Men,” portrays a corrupt small-town sheriff in this scene with Stephen Boyd and Bennett.
Still #38 Ernest Borgnine, Best Actor winner in 1955 for his unforgettable portrayal in “Marty” is seen here as a vicious private detective roughing up Stephen Boyd who plays the part of an “Oscar” nominee who stops at nothing in his frantic quest for the coveted statuette.
