75. INT. FRANKIE’S HOUSE – LIVING ROOM – NIGHT
FRANKIE and KAY enter through the front door, returning from the party. SAM greets them as they reach the living room.
SAM
Welcome home. Nice party?
KAY
Oh, a very nice party, Sam. Thank you. What are you doing up?
SAM
I’m playing gin rummy with Hymie.
HYMIE walks up, looking at his cards.
HYMIE
(to Sam)
Knock with five points.
SAM
You lose.
HYMIE
(to Frankie)
Advertising campaign trouble. It’s very dull, very dry, but very important. Got a few minutes to talk?
KAY
Well, then, good night.
Kay leaves the room.
SAM
See you in the morning, Bwana.
Sam leaves the room.
FRANKIE
You like sleepin’ too much to come out at this hour just about the campaign.
HYMIE
It’s the village locksmith, he sounds like he wants to turn a key on you. Barney Yale. You’d better go see him.
